Why INDIA so inclined toward US instead of Russia who helped INDIA in all fronts since 1947?
India not inclined towards US instead of Russia. India is getting closer to US that does not mean it is getting away from Russia. Until end of Cold War, though we were part of non-alignment movement, but practically we were aligned with USSR and Pakistan was aligned with USA. And there is no doubt that USSR helped us building our defense power. But after collapse of USSR the things got changed. The economy of Russia collapsed. And two nations are never friends but strategic partners. After cold war, the need for India was to have a powerful partner. That brought USA and India closure. That does not mean Russia and India went far. Russia and India are still partners today and very close partners. India can have relations with multiple countries and USA is one among that.
