Why in the film do Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer magically change places after the line, “For we are incurably given to rove”?
The reason they ‘magically’ change places is that The Really Useful Film Group had to cut a large chunk (two verses) out of that song. They had to cut out a few other bits elsewhere. They had to keep the film under two hours long. The finished running time, after all the cutting, was one hour, fifty-six minutes (thanks, Kate!).
