Why In \ Islam \, the purpose of life is to worship Allah?
I heard it and read it again and again and again, that the people who convert to Islam find much bigger meaning of life, as it was not clear to them in previous faith. How to define worship? – First, there are the five pillars of Islam. The basic mandatory beliefs, sayings and rituals, such as praying and fasting. – Then, there are the optional rituals. Praying more, fasting more, giving extra charity, and there are very wide range of inspiring and spiritual optional rituals. They are very enriching, and meaningful to feed the heart and soul. – Then, there are all other acts of goodness in life. “Say (O Muhammad) my prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death belong to Allah; He has no partner and I am ordered to be among those who submit, i.e.; Muslims.” (6:162, 163) The application of this concept is wonderful in Islam and it goes for so many aspects of life (considering that you do it with the right Heart Will) * It goes for earning money in straight way.
