Why identity and belonging?
In contemporary society, questions of identity and belonging are crucial in understanding each other as well as world affairs. Young people are on the brink of finding out who they are and who they want to become. The theme gives young people the chance to express their views on how their family, friends, origins and nationality, youth culture, the media, beliefs – not only religious, and hopes for the future, all shape their identity.
