Why hyperthyroid patients will recur again and again under Western Medication?
Anti hyperthyroid medicines such as PTU, Carbimazole and Tapazole can’t cure hyperthyroid disease completely. These medicines can depress down thyroid hormone T3 /T4 secretion only. Western Doctor will ask patients to lower down anti hyperthyroid medicine while patient’s T3 /T4 lowering to ‘normal range’. Then, stop these anti hyperthyroid medicine even patients still get goiter in neck and many symptoms. However, most of patients will recur again from 1 to 24 months.
