Why humans degrade the environment?
Humans degrade the environment to achieve their selfish motives. They care more for their personal motive rather than thinking about the environment as a whole. They even think that what harm will it make if the environment gets only an ounce damaged by their activity. The problem arises when everyone think like that an degrade the environment to only an ounce. But taken it all together, in the end the environment gets horribly damaged by small ignorant selfish human acts. Thus, they damage the environment to achieve their selfish motives. In fact, the need for them is to understand the importance of environment as the mother nature for all rather than trying to achieve success in their comparatively very small and environment damaging activities.
