Ron Brown was, by all accounts, just a charming fellow working very hard to promote U.S. business. Why would anyone want to kill him? And who would have the resources to do it by bringing down a large White House airplane? The answer, in brief, is that Ron Brown was going to prison and had threatened to bring Bill Clinton down with him.
