Why hire a Wedding DJ directly vs. going through an entertainment agency?
Agencies are great if you’re putting together a carnival needing many different specialties, such as a juggler, auctioneer, or professional clown. But for the most important day of your life, it is probably not the wisest choice, since you will eventually be handed off to whichever DJ subcontractor the agency assigns you. And you will be wasting good money when the agency takes a significant portion of your money (typically 40-50%) for their overhead service as middleman. Choosing a high quality Wedding DJ who is not the cheapest in the market would be a much more prudent way to spend your hard-earned money.
