Why hire a fight choreographer?
The majority of the time, a fight occurs at a climactic moment of a play or film. A bad fight can dissipate all of the built-up dramatic tension that the actors and director strived diligently to create. Poor fighting will destroy a production’s credibility with an audience. There are many reasons to employ a fight choreographer on your production: SAFETY Safety is the primary concern. The fight choreographer ensures that all participants adhere to the proper safety precautions and that the choreography itself is not dangerous. TRAINING It is entirely possible that the actors in the show have either very little or even no stage fighting experience.
