Why Hire a DJ over a live band or jukebox?
• Variety – The larger the guest list the more variety of music is needed. Live bands are usually limited to what they can play well and jukeboxes are limited to the music contained within the system. Songs are scheduled as you choose; you won’t have a rock tune between dance tracks. • Dancing – People like to dance to music they are familiar with. REM Weddings has an extensive music library that can keep any crowd happy. • Sound – A disc jockey can tailor the sound level much easier than a live band and the quality is vastly superior to a jukebox. REM Weddings reduces the volume level during pre-dinner social hour and meals to allow your guests to converse comfortably. Music will typically be louder during dancing, but this is totally at your discretion. • Continuous Music – REM Weddings DJs don’t take a break.
