Created in 1984, Loyola’s Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy is one of the nation’s oldest and best known centers for health law education. In 1986 the Institute created the Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law degree that has since been emulated by other law schools and universities. One year later, the Institute launched one of the very first Master of Laws degree programs. More than 1000 attorneys and health care professionals have graduated from our advanced degree programs in health law at our downtown Chicago campus, making Loyola University Chicago one of the leading health law educators in the country. With our affiliation with Concord Law School, a pioneer in the delivery of online legal education, Loyola is brings our diverse curriculum and considerable experience to students around the globe via a truly innovative platform.
