Why Health Education Assessments in Minnesota?
Minnesota requires that each school district develop standards and assessments in health education by 2008 (M.S. 120B); however, there are other compelling reasons for health educators to learn about assessment. Assessing health education ensures students develop lifelong health skills, rather than merely learn health education facts. Assessment also helps educators guide improvements in health education planning and delivery.
