Why havent I heard of KVAR until now?
Cost effectiveness! Only large companies with lots of motors, high electric bills and large budgets had the need and the means. Also, electric rates throughout America were cheap, costing only 2-4 cents per kilowatt-hour. At these cheaper rates the KVAR Energy Controller was not a cost effective solution. Now, electric rates are 10-22 cents per Kwh and up. These reasons are why KVAR has not been sold retail to the public until 2006. However, since 2006, KVAR now boasts over 450+ distributors World Wide and over 300,000 installations; a true testiment to its success.
