All Councils are required to identify areas of special architectural or historic interest and designate these as conservation areas. The Highland Area Local Plan 2000 contains the proposal to designate a conservation area in Aberfeldy. We have produced a conservation area appraisal which identifies what makes the affected area of Aberfeldy special and worthy of protection.
