Why have people/media/music glamorized “the gangsta life”?
Fast money, thrills, girls, no accountability, homeys, drugs, live fast die young leave a good looking corpse, crime and glorification of such. I’m tough, see, I’m in a gang… fear me. They have no role model other than these tough guys who flash wads of money, easy money, blood money, and drive around in fancy cars. These tough guys did not have to go to school. They just joined a gang. However, these are the top dogs, not the average Joe Gangsta following orders and doing the shit work for Mr. Bigshot. It is all bullshit. It is violence, hate, drugs, an early death, degradation of women. It is all a pack of lies. It is collateral damage… they do not care who else they kill. Then, when they wind up in prison, they form their gangs in prison and continue their turf wars. I have lived in a gang battlezone.
