It is highly irresponsible for the breeder to have sold you the rabbits at that young age. I don’t understand why, but a lot of breeders seem to think that the fact that they CAN wean rabbits at about 6 weeks means that it’s totally okay to send them off as pets. I know the guy who gave me my first rabbit did. He ended up having a lot of health issues and I only had him for three months 🙁 Anyhow, aggression at that age IS uncommon, but older rabbits (4-6+ months) exhibit that behavior due to the onset of puberty. It can be stopped or reduced by getting the rabbits fixed and by reintroducing them through a supervised bonding process. I want to be sure, though, that what you are seeing is fighting. When rabbits fight, they circle each other, pull out fur, and jump in the air kicking at each other. They will squeak and growl and it LOOKS very violent.
