The Enhanced 911 Emergency Calling Service is designed to make it easier for police; fire and ambulance help to reach you faster.In the city of Port Allen the City Police answer 911. All calls out of the city of Port Allen will be answered by the WBR Sheriff’s Office. All fire calls are answered by Port Allen Fire Department and dispatched to the appropriate stations. All medical calls are transferred to Acadian Ambulance Service, who will remain on the line and give pre-arrival instructions and dispatch a unit.
