As shoplifting rings have become more common and use more sophisticated methods to steal from you, EAS is a light at the end of the tunnel for many small businesses. You can prevent the majority of theft by installing an EAS system at your exits. Note that practically all drugstores, WalMarts, KMarts, Targets, Home Depots and most grocery stores use EAS systems. Who do you think they have expended the money to install these systems? The reason is that they work. They protect their profits.
