Why have cameras been excluded from events like the Banquet, Cocktail Party and Prom?
This is mostly at the request of the celebrity guests who are looking forward to the chance to speak and engage in conversation with the attendees. This is impossible when multiple flashes are virtually blinding them. They feel that during special events, the absence of cameras will create a richer experience for the attendees.
