Why hasn the sponsor received the invoice sent by GCA (Grant and Contract Accounting)?
Invoices are created throughout the month. Usually, once the invoice document has been printed, GCA will put it together for mailing, within a day. From GCA the mail is picked up by UW Mailing Services and included in the general outgoing USPS (United States Postal Service) mail. From there, the invoice would be delivered to the sponsor according to normal mail delivery by the USPS.
