Why hasn’t the Canadian Diabetes Association started up it’s own stores to raise money like other charities have?

The Canadian Diabetes Association made the decision not to open our own stores many years ago. This way we do not have the cost or the risk of being in the retail business. This allows us to focus on helping Canadians affected by diabetes.
