Why hasn?t my payment cleared my bank?
An ACH debit request may take a few days after the settlement date to post to your bank account. Check your bank account after the settlement date you entered to see the funds have been withdrawn. The Tax Commission will not notify you if the payment is not processed. Errors may include: • Incorrect or invalid bank routing number • Incorrect or invalid bank account number • Insufficient funds It is your responsibility to ensure bank routing and account numbers are submitted correctly and funds are available. You may be subject to penalty and interest if your payment is not received timely.
