Why hasn’t anyone yet achieved a translator from English into Spanish?
MTC Soft has enjoyed the benefit of double experiences, first to focus and analyze the problem, then to convert that analysis into computer code. The first task was achieved by a professional translator with more than 20 years of experience in the European Commission, a person with extensive knowledge of the day-to-day problems faced by translators working with existing automatic translation applications. This was the person commissioned to analyze the translation process and elaborate a system of identification and labelling of all the words of a given hypothetical text with their linguistic attributes (subject, plural, predicate…) Once the linguistic analysis of natural language was carried out, the programmers at MTC Soft managed to “translate” it into a program capable of creating, totally automatically, an “enriched” text, and the challenge of achieving a correct translation was practically resolved.
