Why has there been a change to the refinement process for ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS and AR-DRG classifications?

0

A. The DoHA commissioned a review of the AR-DRG Classification System in 2009. One of the main recommendations of The Review of the AR-DRG Classification System Development Process was that one organisation assume responsibility for both the ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS and the AR-DRG refinement. For more details please refer to the report. In response to this review, and after a nationally competitive selection process, the CHSD, UoW was selected to manage the AR-DRG Classification System development.
