Why has the WSU School of Business launched a business consulting initiative?
The School of Business Administration is frequently approached by individuals and organizations requesting one form of assistance or another, and we have provided various forms and degrees of assistance over the nearly six decades we have served the community. In the past, assistance has been provided to a limited number of businesses and organizations, and this has involved largely uncoordinated efforts of individual faculty members utilizing class projects to provide assistance. In addition, an assortment of student internship opportunities are provided, but the current approaches do not provide an organization with ready access to additional assistance that may be required, and they often have only a limited connection to the students’ degree work.
