Why has the ride height of my leaf sprung vehicle changed after installation?

0

It is common for some leaf spring applications (especially Ford Super Duty) to settle 0.5 to 1.0 inch within the first 500-1000 miles of use. Typically our leaf springs will provide more lift than specified and if settling occurs it is within service specifications. These service limits are easily determined if a stock ride height measurement (center of wheel hub – straight up to fender) is taken prior to lift installation and measured again after the lift is installed .
