Why has the Mayor’s Office recommended the Barnes Bank block to the City Council as the preferred location for the new public safety facilities?
Among the sites that were reviewed, the Barnes Bank Block (block 35/Plat B) was chosen because it meets the site criteria, provides the best combination of advantages, has the fewest disadvantages, and continues the development of the Civic Campus.
