Why has the layout or display screen changed on the Exchange Availability Results Page?
Firstly, with the introduction of Gold Advantage, we needed to include an area where ‘advance notice’ inventory can be clearly identified. Secondly, it has been suggested that DAE only ever gets ‘mud’ weeks and rarely confirms the better weeks in high demand areas. Well we know that’s not true and so do our happy members who have been confirmed into many great weeks in the great locations. We now show some of the SOLD inventory to demonstrate to members and visitors to our site that we do get great inventory! When inventory comes into our system, it is run through a request matching process and is offered to members who have already placed their request and are waitlisted for this space. It is for this reason that lots of high demand inventory never makes it onto our website. Placing a request (free service) and getting onto the waitlist is the best way to get some of this quality inventory.
