Why has the Evenflo Triple Fun Activity Center been recalled?
Evenflo is voluntarily recalling the Triple Fun because when it is used as a stationary activity table (defined as Stage 3), a cap on the end of the product can fall off, posing a fall hazard to a child leaning or pulling up on the end cap. The Triple Fun is the only ExerSaucer model that has a Stage 3 and the end cap is only used when the product is utilized as a Stage 3 activity table. It is not present when the product is used in Stages 1 or 2 which support younger children. Have any injuries been reported? Yes, Evenflo has received 11 reports of dislodged Triple Fun end caps which resulted in nine minor injuries including scratches and bruises. There was also one report of a broken collarbone when a child fell as the result of the end cap detaching from the product. How many Triple Fun units may be affected by this recall?
