Why has the Cwear rating changed from 100+ SPF/UPF to 50+ SPF/UPF?

While our C-Wear fabric’s high quality and maximum protection have not changed, the testing standards in the USA have changed. We are complying with new US standards that recommend that sun protective clothing and swimwear use a maximum SPF/UPF* of 50+. Rest assured that all of our products still provide the same maximum protection they always have, only the labeling has changed!
