Why has the cost risen to $9 per dance?
Admissions to the weekly dances has held steady at $8 for 5 years. There has not been an increase in the weekly admission since 2004. Unfortunately our expenses have steadily increased over that same time period. We are sorry, but to keep the dances going we find we must finally pass on some of those increased costs to you our valued patrons. However, you can still pay less per dance by purchasing a dance card for $40. This card gives you five dances for just $40, a potential savings of $5! In defense of the admission price, where else can you get 3.5 hours of entertainment that includes parking, coat check, all the food you care to consume and hundreds of singles to meet, for just $9? Compared to a movie, bowling, dinner, etc. this is a bargain.
