Why has the Board opted to consider four sites in Central County instead of naming one?
In fairness to the voters, the Board wanted all to know what kinds of properties were being considered without limiting its negotiating power with potential sellers. The OCCC Board is very interested in seeing that voters will receive the best value when it comes to siting the new campus. This strategy also allows the College to carefully evaluate and weigh the related costs of infrastructure and development requirements.
