Why has the Arab-Israeli Conflict Lasted so Long?
NOTE: This study generalizes a lot about “The Arabs”. Based on the reading I’ve done,I believe the generalizations are warranted. In an ideal world, Americans and Israelis would love the Arabs, and they would love us. As it turns out, many do. However, as a group, they do not. I regret that. For any Arabs who feel I am not decribing them in my generalizations, don’t be offended, because I am not describing you. As we saw in the previous study, Israel can never give up the land demanded by the Palestinians (i.e., Jerusalem). But, let’s suppose they did give up Jerusalem. Would the Palestinians be satisfied? The answer is no, and not because they wouldn’t accept Jerusalem. They would simply demand more, and “The Palestinian Problem” would go on. Why is this the case?
