Why has rainbow seven colors only?
What you see are the primary visible colors. Like elements they can not be broken any further into other colors. White is the combination of all colors while black is the absence of color. Some say the basic colors are 3: Red, yellow, and blue while the others: orange, green, indigo and violet are combinations of the first three. However, each of the seven colors have different frequencies with red at the lowest (infrared is “below the red”) and violet the highest (ultraviolet means “above the violet).
