Why has New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine been such a bad governor?
Corzine wanted to make it impossible for us to afford to live in Jersey. Like the person above me wrote about the taxes, I would write the same thing. Not everyone can afford to take a $1/year salary like Corzine. He also wanted to raise the tolls on the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway by 800%. For those of you not familiar with New Jersey, Almost every New Jersey citizen (based upon where they live in the state) travels on atleast one of these roads very often. This is especially true for commuters who do not live near a train station or choose not to take the buses to New York City or Philadelphia and drive. The Turnpike South goes to Philly and the Turnpike/Parkway North goes to NYC. I believe he even wanted to raise the tolls on the AC Expressway which is a major road going into Philadelphia for those living in South Jersey.
