Why has my red cap oranda got white pimple like spots on the red cap?
i would not think so i know what you mean with the white spots though and this is normally just above & on the gill plates and look like little grans of sugar( for maturity) as for being on the red cap can you see them any where else like the fins, because white spot(iche) has a habit of starting on the fins, are they on the flank’s of the fish, need more information don’t wont you treating your tank or fish if you don’t have to
