Why has my cat stopped using her litter tray?
Cats are very clean by nature, so when they stop using their litter tray it’s often a sign of illness. It’s worth taking her to the vet for a check up. If the vet gives her the all clear, then you need to look at behavioural causes. Has she been spayed? If not, she might be scent marking her territory. Has she had an unpleasant experience whilst using the tray (been startled by a loud noise or ambushed by another pet etc.) as this could put her off using it.
