Why has McManus Books stopped having an 800 number so we can talk to a real person?
As you may know, Peggy and Tony shut down McManus Books some time ago and with it went the 800 number. Now Kelly is attempting to restart McManus Books but in a limited version. She created the web site as a service to you and Pat so that we can let you know what is happening, Pat’s schedule, about new books and maybe later, new products and to make autographed copies of the latest book available. Many years ago I started the business because Pat’s name was not known to booksellers and the books were not on their shelves for sale. That isn’t the case anymore. Most people can find what they are looking for at their hometown bookstores or online. We thank you for your questions and interest in our web site. Pat enjoys sitting down and answering some of your gmails. He gets a boost from hearing your stories and thoughts and so do I.
