Why has human nature remained so perverse throughout recorded history?
It is because, since the fall, our sinful nature causes us to incline towards the evil. Only when we accept The Lord Jesus as our saviour can we recieve the indwelling of the holy spirit and BEGIN to change for the better. Look at what Paul said in Ephesians chapter 2, “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience. Satan is this “prince of the power of the air”, and it is him that mankind unconsciously follows by nature. Satan is in other places described as the God of this world.
