Why Halo 2 multiplayer?

Ok, so most (if not all) of the people reading this article will have played a fair amount of Halo 2 multiplayer and will probably also have Xbox Live. There are a lot of great games out there, and many of them are online enabled, so why do we keep coming back to Halo 2? Replayability One of the more obvious answers. Many people have noted that the campaign in Halo 2 didn’t have the same replay value as in Halo 1, but regardless, a game with set levels that involves only you and cannot grow or adapt in any way will wear thin sooner or later. Multiplayer however, particularly over Xbox Live changes all that by adding a human element. As is mentioned by a Bungie employee on the special edition, your opponents are always evolving and adapting, learning new strategies and getting better in a way that AI cannot (yet) do.
