Why Grand-Am vs. other racing series?
A. Grand-Am is a very competitive and fun racing series. Grand-Am gives you great challenges both as a driver and team owner. From a Kinetic view, we have chosen the Grand-Am KONI platform because that supports the idea of our business model where we custom and taylor cars for the club and semi pro racer, who wants to go racing and get the experience of being a pro racer but not needing or wanting the infra structure to do it on there own. This also goes along with our street and engine business where we working on BMW street and club cars as one of the major brands for us. From a Krohn racing perspective, even though we race full schedule in the Grand-am Rolex series we still do selected events in the ALMS and Le Mans series in conjunction with another team. The reason the major focus is on the Grand-am series for the moment is because Krohn racing went in to a joint venture for the 08 season with LOLA cars and designed and built the Proto Auto LOLA chassis for the Daytona Prototype c
