WHY GO KARTS?

Over the years, the vast majority of outdoor family entertainment centers (FECs), and an increasing number of indoor FECs have included concession go-karts in their attraction mix. The reasons include: Broad Age Group Appeal: Go-Karts have an almost universal appeal across all age groups from 8 years of age and up. Mom may not want to ride (though this is far from true in many cases), but she knows her older children do. Karts attract both genders. Go-karts have been a mainstay of FECs for more than thirty years. Go-Karts have Cleaned Up their Image: Since the karting industry introduced manufacturing and track construction standards, the image of go-karting has completely changed in the minds of most of the population. In early years, most go-karts were basically a lawnmower engine mounted on a rather primitive chassis, brake system and steering system.
