Why GIX?
Gulf Iraqi Expo “GIX” is the first trade show ever that will be organized by the Iraqi government outside Iraq to promote and reinforce the relationship between Iraq and the Gulf countries, the first event will be held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain in November 1st – 3rd 2007. For many years, and a myriad of unfortunate political and economic reasons, Iraq has been severely restricted in its relations with the outside business world. Previously unable to provide access to the wealth of resources in products and services of foreign companies, Iraq now boasts in the re-establishment of this significant forum for interaction with the international business community.
