Why German quality tools?
If you have a classic German car such as a BMW or a Mercedes-Benz you may require specialty tools for certain tasks, and these tools are typically only available directly from Germany. The same can be said if you own high quality electric tools from Bosch or Borg Warner – the best tools for maintaining and / or repairing these tools are usually those used in the factory that makes them. German woodworking tools are produced from only the highest quality steel, titanium, and tungsten. Although they may cost a little bit more, tools such as German gouges, chisel, and paring tools usually come with higher quality edges, hand forged and mirror polished blades, and higher hardness scores than tools made in other countries.
