Why Galvanized Dampers?
Steel Galvanized dampers are an economical and effective choice for many applications. Steel which has been coated with zinc in the galvanizing process is corrosion resistant and should remain rust free for decades. Galvanized dampers therefore will not require the same maintenance as regular steel components. In particular, galvanized dampers have excellent weather resistance, making it suitable for exterior exposure. The zinc alloy coating on galvanized steel is also both abrasion and impact resistant, and harder than the base steel. Galvanized dampers are stronger than their aluminum counterparts.
