Why from PAS point of view, Western culture will corrupt Malaysian mind does it. What is their justification?
You can shelter your child from everything and everyone and teach them ideals, dreams and fantasies different from the whole world. But once you are dead or your child have left his nest to the wide wide world you are throwing a lamb to a wolf. Better to bring up a child with respect, decency, self-restraint and discipline, intelligence and awareness of the world around him to be able to make smart choices in life while respecting others to make their own choices. They grow up to become better people, better religious integrity, better parents. Its true that how you look doesn’t reflect who you are as a person and believer. Its also very hypocritical to say EVERYTHING about the Western world is bad. We live within all modern inventions and concepts CREATED and ADAPTED by Western people. Its like living on a pig farm and selling pigs to earn a living and then saying that people who eat pork are evil and sinful. Any culture can be made bad by the people living within them.
