Why Friends of the Earth (HK) participate in?
Dongjiang provides the primary drinking water for Hong kong people. We have every reason to safeguard the safety and amount of our drinking water. Drinking water, thinking water source. Starts from headstream, Friends of the Earth (HK) preserve environment and ecology of Dongjiang Source Region, which aims to enhance water catchment and reduce water source pollution. For safe drinking water of over 30 million residents downstream, Friends of the Earth (HK) appeals to downstream public to support our Dongjiang River Partner Project. By raising public awarenes to water crisis, we hope to build a partnership between upstream and downstream.
