Why form anindependent alumni association?

0

We feel that the direction, leadership, and activities of any alumni association are best accomplished by the alumni themselves. It is the alumni who are the best guardians of any educational institutions spirit and traditions. In the case of this Association, we feel that it is the alumni who are best equipped to pursue the ideals of collegiality and philanthropy. It is only through the direct, autonomous, and independent participation of the alumni that we can best preserve and perpetuate our Jesuit camaraderie and our mission to become “Men for Others.” Other examples ofindependent alumni associations include Jesuit Georgetown Prep in Maryland, University of Wisconsin, and the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Dallas, as are all local Notre Dame alumni clubs.
