Why Flexible Scheduling?
Research clearly demonstrates that when a flexible library schedule is used, there is: More collaborative teaching and instructional programs that utilize inquiry and problem-based learning. More engaging and educationally rich learning activities for students. More frequent student visits to the library.1 Fixed schedules where students visit the library at a predetermined time are often preferred by principals, teachers and librarians.
