Why establish a new parish in Ramsey; aren’t there enough Catholic churches in the area?
Catholics in Ramsey have belonged to the four surrounding parishes (three in the Archdiocese and one in the Diocese of St. Cloud), all of which are very large communities. For this reason, and because the city of Ramsey is predicted to double in population over this decade a new parish was deemed necessary.
